In 2011, the Warlingham Walks Working Group of the Parish Council produced a pair ofleaflets describing walks in Warlingham. Since then, the group has run an annual event to publicise the existence of those walks and the associated leaflets. This year the event was held on Sunday September 3rd. There were three walks of different lengths, all based on the walks in the leaflets. Despite the rather dull damp weather, over fifty people took part, plus a couple of dogs. At the end of the walk, a delicious cream tea was laid on in the Village Hall, following which over sixty pounds was donated towards the upkeep of the hall.

Copies of the walks leaflets can be obtained from Warlingham Library.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Wednesday 7 February at 7.30 in Warlingham Library.
