Every year the Parish Council makes grants to local clubs, associations and other non profit making bodies which provide facilities and services to the people of Warlingham to help them maintain or improve their activities.

This year grants have been made to the Cricket Club for sightscreens, the Rugby Club for tools to maintain its grounds, the Methodist Youth Club for a folding football table, the Friends of Hamsey Green School PTA for an outside notice board, East Surrey Museum for improved storage space and to Caterham & Warlingham Citizens Advice Bureau and St Catherine's Hospice towards their running costs.

In addition a substantial grant has been provided to the Church Hall to support its modernisation programme, in particular the upgrading of the toilet at the back of the Hall. The regular annual grants to Blanchmans Farm Community Wildlife Area, the Churchyard and the Christmas Lights Committee to support the maintenance of these important Warlingham facilities were also agreed at the December meeting.

The next meeting of the Parish Council will be on Wednesday 5th September at 7.30 in Warlingham Library.
